  1. 2014 Children’s Music Arts Camp

    STEP RIGHT UP to Music Arts Camp, July 21 – 25, 2014!  There’s trouble under the Big Top but the students find answers in the Word of God. This fun and scripture-filled musical has something for everyone as the children learn to do everything for the Glory of God.  The children of Music Arts Camp will thrill and delight you as they share what they learned, Sunday night, July 27, at 6:00 p.m.

    Music Focus options: Piano, Drumming, Stomp, Handbells, and Guitar

    Arts Focus options: Dance, Drama, Puppets, Martial Arts, Storytelling, and Visual Art

    • 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. daily
    • Monday,  July 21 – Friday, July 25, 2014
    • Cost: $30 before July 1, $50 after July 1
    • Extended care is available until 5:00 p.m. including field trips and activities for $15 per day.

    Extended Care Field Trips:

    • Monday—Bounce U & Board Games
    • Tuesday—Roller Skating & Running Games
    • Wednesday—Music City Tour & Instruments
    • Thursday—Swim & Park Play
    • Friday—The Frist & Cookie Baking

    To participate in extended care field trips, you must have a 2014 Medical Release Form on file and sign up by July 17.

    Visitors are welcome. Make plans to be involved in Music Arts Camp 2014!

  3. 2014 Parents Day Out

    Parents Day Out (PDO) theme days, Bible stories, art, rest and play make for a great day from 9:00 a.m.— 4:00 p.m. for Babies - Kindergarten graduates.

    • July 17Splish, Splash!
    • July 24Picasso Play
    • July 31Roller Coaster Craze

    Registration and a notarized Medical Release Form is required for PDO. Online registration begins April 1. Please register by June 15 to guarantee your child's spot. The cost is a one-time $10 supply fee and $20/day.

    Partial scholarships are available for Thrilling Thursdays and Parents Day Out. Please speak with Shannon Meadors to request a scholarship or to contribute to this scholarship fund.

    Always at a different place!

    Thrilling Thursdays (TT) are outrageous day trips for completed 1st - 6th Graders. Each week we'll meet in Room 150 at 9:00 a.m. and hit the road for
    an all-thrills field trip until 4:00 p.m.

    • June 19—Zoo & Soda Shoppe
      The Nashville Zoo and Mibe's Ice Cream
       
    • June 26—Roller Coasters & Water Slides
      Beech Bend Park
       
    • July 10—Serve, Bounce & Bowl
      Harvest Hands, Bounce U, Franklin Lanes
       
    • July 17—Sightsee & Splash
      Long Hunter State Park
       
    • July 24 (1/2 day)—Swim & Play with MAC Field Trips
      Sportsplex, Centennial Park
       
    • July 31—Slide, Hide & Battle
      A Game Sportsplex and Laser Chase

    Registration and a notarized Medical Release Form is required for TT. Online registration begins April 1. You must register by June 15 to guarantee your child's spot. The cost is a one-time $10 t-shirt fee and $25/day.

    July 21 – 25, 2014  |  1:00 – 5:00 p.m.  |  1st – 6th Grade graduates

    Stay all day after Music Arts Camp (MAC) for these afternoon adventures geared to spark interests in the arts...

    • Monday: Bounce U & Board Games — groove at Bounce U & design your own board game
    • Tuesday: Roller Skating & Running Games — skate at Brentwood Skate Center & play running games
    • Wednesday: Music City Tour & Instruments — tour music city & make your own instrument
    • Thursday: Swim & Park Play — swim at the Sportsplex & play at Centennial Park
    • Friday: The Frist & Cookie Baking — create and view art at The Frist & bake cookies

    Registration by July 16 and a notarized Medical Release Form are required for MAC Field Trips. Online registration begins April 1 and closes July 16. Cost for each MAC Field Trip is $15/day.
