4th of July Outreach
Celebrate July 4, Independence Day, in downtown with First Baptist Nashville friends!
Save the date and bring your family, neighbors, and friends to celebrate the 4th of July at Seventh and Broadway. All ages are invited to be part of outreach teams that will interact with people on the streets in the downtown business district and along Riverfront Park, as well as on our patio.
Street teams will give away glow sticks, ice cold water, lemonade, and Scripture material about finding true freedom in Jesus Christ. Children’s activities on the patio will include temporary tattoos, hula hoops and more. Materials will be provided for children and adults to write letters or postcards thanking our active military men and women for their service and to “mail” them in a big mailbox on the patio. We will also invite people to take a moment for refreshments and conversation on the church campus.
Teams work in two shifts—2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
You may learn more and also register to help in the church lobby after morning worship, beginning Sunday, June 8, or email Becky Clay at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Come and share your story of freedom with those who gather downtown for Nashville’s fantastic July 4 festivities and celebration.
