Welcome to Our Missionary Residence

by Rus Roach, minister of pastoral care/senior adults

Dano and Melinda Whited are in our home in Franklin until early November. He was a pilot in the Navy when both felt a call to missions but were not sure how to do so. In 1998 they heard about Wycliffe and then JAARS, a Christian pilots group that serves missionaries. In 2008 they joined Wycliffe.

They have six children born from 2001 to 2012 (yes, even our large missionary home is a bit crowded). They are living in Southeast Asia where he serves as an airplane mechanic.

Dano is a graduate of Greenbrier High School and attended Tennessee Tech before joining the Navy. Melinda graduated from White House High School and Belmont University with an elementary education degree.
Much of their time will be traveling to visit churches, but they are certainly available to visit our Bible study classes or mission groups to share their story.
