First Women’s Ministry
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” – Romans 15:5-7
Who We Are
First Women gather to help nurture our church and our community – as well as each other – in Christ’s love. From crafting and knitting; prayer and Bible study; book clubs and mission groups, we live life, laugh and grow in our spiritual walks.
First Women Prayer
First Women meet in the bond of prayer each Sunday from 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. in the Bride’s Room. We meet to simply pray—no fluff, no food, but just fellowship in prayer. For more information, contact Diana Chandler, (email@example.com).
- First Page
Beginning Sunday, March 30 | 5:15 p.m. | Brides Room—A community of women, all ages Christian fiction book club. Childcare is available from 5 – 7 p.m. Older kids (4+) may take part in our Bible Skills, Drills, and Thrills. Coffee and snacks provided.
Craft & Crop
Craft & Crop is held on various weekends throughout the year. It’s a time for the crafty ladies of First Baptist Nashville to come together for two days and work on projects. This is not exclusive to people who scrapbook nor is it exclusive to church members; it is for all crafters and all friends. For additional information, contact Becky Clay, 615.353.6647.
Soul Time is a gathering of our young women and mentors for a light supper and study the First and Third Tuesday evenings. We are currently studying Francis Chan’s Forgotten God. Contact Linda McDugald,firstname.lastname@example.org
